New SAF surcharge
We realise that aviation must become more sustainable. This is why, as of 10 January 2023, the percentage of Sustainable Aviation Fuel we add to all KLM tickets with departure from Amsterdam will double from 0,5% to 1,0%. The additional cost of this step will be transparently reflected as part of the price of your ticket.

Improved CO2 Impact Program
For passengers who wish to do even more, our CO2 Impact Program offers the option to buy extra Sustainable Aviation Fuel. With the additional purchase of SAF, you contribute to less use of fossil kerosene, and thus to a direct reduction of CO2 emissions. The entire amount raised will be used to buy SAF.
